From our winery we want to introduce you to our star product, the Iberian acorn-fed ham, surely not one of the best-known hams in our country, but certainly one of the oldest.
Already recognized for its quality by the Emperor Carlos V in his retirement in the Monastery of Yuste where he requested it as an appetizer between meals, in the same way there is data that proves that Montánchez hams were already taken in the long voyages of discovery of America. Undoubtedly, all this and taking into account that Montánchez is currently the town with the most Espiga de Oro awards, a prestigious award granted by the Dehesa de Extremadura Denomination, make Montánchez a unique town where you can taste this delicious delicacy such as : ACORN-FED IBERIAN HAM.
